A Garden Between Shores: Indigo Tea considers tea as more than a ritual of hospitality. Across the Caribbean, tea carries histories of colonial trade and labor while becoming deeply woven into everyday life—shared through family, conversation, healing, and community.

The teapot becomes a vessel for these layered histories. Its deep indigo blue recalls the ocean and sky surrounding Haiti and the Caribbean, transforming blue into a color of distance, passage, memory, and connection. Adorned with flora, the vessel reflects on how plants and cultural memory travel with people, adapting and taking root in new places.
