Oolite Arts’ Shares program uses the model of supporting local agriculture and adapts it to support South Florida artists. Buy one of our Community Supported Art Shares for $500, and instead of getting a bushel of colorful produce, you’ll receive a bounty of nine pieces of high-quality art, created by some of Miami’s most interesting and talented artists.

It’s Oolite Arts’ innovative way of helping create a local, sustainable arts ecosystem, with your active participation! This project is modeled on the Community Supported Art program in Minnesota, created by mnartists.org and Springboard for the Arts. (Learn more)

The series “The Moon and Sun cannot dwell together” consist of 50 teapots that reflect different aspects of Haitian culture and life. For collectors who are lucky to acquire the MoonHeart form teapot; this vessel is characterized by its voluminous bulk. Gold accent designs are embellished over bold colors that are derivative of carnival and various celebrations that take place in Haiti throughout the year. As Haitian, Unity is our strength and motto; our collective identity comes in all shadows under the sun.

The series “The Moon and Sun cannot dwell together” consist of 50 teapots that reflect different aspects of Haitian culture and life. For collectors who are lucky to acquire the Rococo form teapot; this vessel stands for a better tomorrow, a phrase coined amongst the Maroons soldiers of the Haitian revolution. The design is characterized by soft and sensual lines with gold accented edging as embellishment. The modernity of yesterday is the tradition of today, and the modernity of today will be a tradition of tomorrow; a shared mindset rooted by many Haitian scholars. Haiti is now, today and forever.
