Brown is the color of rich soil. It is a composite color created by combining red, black, and yellow. This color is commonly seen in human hair, eye color, and skin pigmentation. Moreover, public opinion surveys in Europe and the United States indicate that it is the least favorite color among the populace. “The Brown Menagerie” examines facets of race, sexism, and fashion through an Afro-Caribbean lens. — Morel Doucet
